Chris Munson

Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Munson is Chief Financial Officer at Yacktman Asset Management. Prior to joining the Firm in 2024, Chris was a founder and Managing Partner of Windswept Capital, an energy focused investment manager. From 2009 to 2022, he served as the CFO for Vida Capital, an alternative asset manager based in Austin. He helped grow Vida from zero to over $4.4 billion in AUM, leading capital markets and multiple M&A transactions, with an ultimate sale of the platform to private equity in 2019. Chris began his career as a management consultant, most recently with Accenture. Chris holds a BBA in Finance and Computer Applications from The University of Notre Dame and an MBA from the Acton School of Business.
