We approach investing with a business owner’s mindset. We think carefully about the normalized cash flows that a company generates and the risks that it faces in the marketplace. We look closely at the price we pay for an investment – “It’s almost all about the price.”

Our firm was founded in 1992 and recently celebrated 30 years of investing as a boutique investment firm. Over our history, we have built a strong culture and business platform underpinning our focus on generating strong and differentiated long-term returns for our investors.

Yacktman is owned by our firm’s partners and by Affiliated Managers Group, Inc. (“AMG”). AMG is a publicly-traded global asset management company with investments in leading boutique investment management firms.  Yacktman and other affiliates operate autonomously and independently of AMG and of each other.
